Best Under-Eye Masks and Patches for Dark Circles, Puffiness, Fine Lines and Wrinkles
I've tested countless under-eye patches, from affordable high-street favourites to premium luxury brands, to find the formulas that genuinely deliver results. As an independent skincare expert, I've looked beyond the marketing claims and ingredient buzzwords to identify the products that are truly worth your money.
Whether you're dealing with the effects of late nights, early mornings, a newborn keeping you awake, travel fatigue, or simply tired-looking eyes, a good under-eye patch can provide an instant refresh. While no eye patch can replace a consistent skincare routine, they are an excellent addition for boosting hydration, reducing the appearance of puffiness and smoothing the delicate eye area before a special event or whenever you need a quick pick-me-up. Not forgetting popping eye patches in the fridge too gives the added depuffing benefit.
The skin around the eyes is thinner and more fragile than the rest of the face, so alongside these patches, I always recommend using a targeted eye cream morning and evening and applying SPF around the eye area daily.

Grace & Stella Eye Patches
Dubbed as the TikTok and Amazon sensation, Grace & Stella’s eye patches have earned their cult status, and after thoroughly testing the range, I can confidently say these two formulas stand out for their impressive performance. Both are incredibly hydrating, soothing, and an effortless way to elevate your skincare routine with visible results.
The Moisturising Eye Patches (the pink ones) are designed to smooth, plump, and hydrate the delicate under-eye area. Infused with Fructose, Hydrolysed Vegetable Protein, and Glycerin, they visibly reduce dryness and fine lines, leaving the skin noticeably softer and more supple after just one use.
The Illuminating Eye Patches (the blue ones) offer equally powerful hydration and are formulated to brighten and revitalise tired eyes. With a blend of Niacinamide, Hyaluronic Acid, Camellia, and Rosemary extracts, they work to calm puffiness, restore moisture, and refresh the overall look of the eye area.
Whether you choose the moisturising or illuminating version, both deliver impressive results, smoothing, hydrating, and reviving the under-eye area in just minutes.

Beauty Of Joseon Revive Under Eye Patches Ginseng + Retinal
The Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Patches are one of my favourite finds at such an affordable price. These hydrogel eye patches incorporate retinal, an ingredient I highly rate, with proven benefits for fine lines, wrinkles, and overall skin quality.
Combined with Ginseng Root Water, they provide both antioxidant support and hydration, while the hydrogel format helps maximise ingredient absorption and delivers an immediate plumping effect.
I particularly like that these patches offer more than just a temporary de-puffing benefit thanks to the inclusion of Retinal. However, as with any retinal product, they may not be suitable for very sensitive skin and should be introduced gradually.
While they won't transform dark circles overnight, they offer a more results-driven approach than most eye patches, making them one of the few options I would consider for both long-term skin benefits and instant refreshment. I particularly like the idea that you could use them on frown or smile lines, making the under-eye patches more effective. The brand does recommend you apply their Retinal Serum underneath the eye patches I wouldn’t advise this.

Charlotte Tilbury Immediate Eye Revival Patches
If your under-eyes are feeling dry, puffy, or just generally in need of a pick-me-up, the Charlotte Tilbury Immediate Eye Revival Patches are a hydration essential. These patches deliver an instant surge of moisture, using an advanced delivery system that acts like a second skin, helping to lock in hydration while minimising water loss.
Infused with Bio Smooth Eye Complex, they work to soothe, smooth, and plump the delicate eye area in just 10 minutes. The under-eyes that look brighter, more rested, and visibly refreshed. These patches provide a cooling, de-puffing effect, leaving the skin looking luminous and well-hydrated. I wouldn’t go so far as to call the result "snatched," as the brand's quote does, but the difference in hydration, smoothness, and radiance is clear.
A quick note: they can slide slightly if you're up and about, so I’d recommend using them during a quiet moment, ideally while relaxing or as part of a mindful evening routine lying down. If you experience sensitivity around the eye area, you may want to skip these. I can't understand why these tingle and sting under the eyes, but they do, so please tread with caution.

Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Patches
The Summer Fridays Jet Lag Eye Patches are well-formulated hydrogel patches that help with instant hydration and de-puffing. The Glycerin-rich base, combined with Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol and soothing botanicals like Oat and Bisabolol, delivers immediate comfort and a smoother under-eye appearance.
With caffeine to help wake up tired eyes, these are especially good for those mornings when the eyes are puffy and show signs of fatigue; also great for travel or pre-makeup prep.
Whilst Niacinamide and Peptides add some supportive skin-refining benefits, these patches won’t significantly improve dark circles or deeper crepiness, but they perform exactly as intended for a burst of hydration and revitalise dehydrated, tired-looking under-eyes.

Shiseido Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Express Eye Mask
If you're looking to treat not just puffiness, but also crow’s feet, fine lines, and crepiness, the Shiseido Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Express Eye Mask deserves a spot in your routine. These patches are generously sized, covering a large area beneath the eyes, making them particularly effective for targeting the outer corners where signs of ageing tend to settle first, such as crow's feet and laughter lines.
These are one of my all-time favourite under-eye masks, the fabric-like material moulds seamlessly to the contours of the face, and they don't slip or slide down your face, allowing for uninterrupted treatment and better absorption.
As a skincare expert, I can’t speak about Shiseido without highlighting their commitment to cutting-edge technology. They are pioneers in the industry, credited with creating the first synthetic Hyaluronic Acid and continue to push the boundaries of efficacy and innovation. The Vital Perfection Eye Mask is no exception.
Formulated to hydrate, firm, and visibly plump the under-eye area, these patches are clinically proven to deliver results after just one use, with continued improvement after one week and four weeks of regular use. These super gentle Retinol-infused eye patches help to smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles while boosting radiance and skin resilience.

HydroPeptide PolyPeptide Collagel+ Mask for Eyes
Another accidental find, but so pleased i did discover these, they’re non-slip and stay firmly in place, making them ideal for multitasking while you mask. If you're the type who likes to get things done while treating your skin, these are a great choice.
Formulated with advanced hydrogel technology, these patches help lock in moisture and enhance the delivery of active ingredients while offering a refreshing cooling effect. Infused with five different Peptides, Hyaluronic acid, and soothing Aloe vera, they work to hydrate, brighten, and visibly firm the eye contour so great for tackling lines, dehydration and darkness under the eyes.
However, a quick heads-up: if you have slack or particularly delicate skin around the eyes, these may not be the best fit, as they can tug slightly when being removed. That said, they do deliver noticeable results in plumping and smoothing the under-eye area.

CHANEL LE LIFT Flash Eye
The CHANEL LE LIFT Flash Eye Patches did leave me underwhelmed only because I guess I have tried so many eye patches, and as these patches are from CHANEL and for the price, I would have liked to see some stronger, more effective ingredients. That said, they do intensely hydrate, smooth, and plump the eye area.
The under-eye patches combine low-molecular-weight Hyaluronic acid, Sodium Polyglutamate, and Glycerin to deeply hydrate and plump the under-eye area. While Chanel doesn't disclose the composition of its proprietary eye complex, I think it’s likely to center around Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Extract (a fermented yeast extract which is rich in Amino acids, Peptides, Vitamins, Minerals and Sugars that helps support skin vitality, hydration and radiance) and Escin (a derivative of Horse Chestnut extract to tackle puffiness and under-eye bags). Together, these ingredients help target the appearance of fatigue, puffiness, and dullness, while Hyaluronic Acid and Sodium Polyglutamate provide immediate plumping and smoothing effects.
The patches leave the eye area looking brighter, smoother and more rested after just a few minutes. Whilst this wouldn’t be my first choice, I can see why people love them and you can see a visible difference after one use.

ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks
These eye masks are a brilliant quick fix for tired, dehydrated under-eyes. From the first application, the skin feels smoother, looks plumper, and is intensely hydrated.
What I love about these under-eye masks is the combination of the hydration-first formula and the unique material used to mold under the eye area, which seems to hold and trap the moisture. Powered by a trio of moisture magnets, Glycerin, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), and Hyaluronic acid, the masks work to draw moisture deep into the skin, instantly plumping and softening fine lines. If you're dealing with dryness, fatigue, or a crepey texture under the eyes, these ingredients deliver a much-needed surge of hydration.
True to ELEMIS' spa-grade formulas, the eye masks also feature the brand's signature Padina Pavonica, a Mediterranean algae known to support skin elasticity and firmness. Combined with mineral-rich waters and nourishing Plankton Extract, the masks help support the skin’s natural barrier while delivering a soothing, depuffing effect.
The cooling gel texture adheres beautifully to the under-eye area without slipping, making them ideal for use while you multitask - whether you're getting ready for an event or simply winding down in the evening. The addition of plant oils further comforts the skin and leaves it feeling nourished and silky smooth.

Decree SOS Revitalising Eye Mask
This luxurious eye mask is outstanding, and whilst it's on the upper end of the price range for eye patches, the complete wraparound design treats not only the under-eye area but also the eyelids and outer corners, targeting crow’s feet and fine lines. It’s one of the most comprehensive masks I’ve tested and delivers visible results, although it is the most premium-priced option on this list.
This is one of the most hydrating eye masks, which deeply quenches the under-eye area with an exceptional hydration-boosting formula that includes Rosewater, Glycerin, and Hyaluronic Acid, leaving the under-eyes soft, supple, and soothed. The inclusion of Ceramides, Squalane, and Cholesterol helps to lock in moisture and restore barrier function, immediately improving comfort and resilience. It also packs a punch with Peptides, Niacinamide, and Caffeine, ingredients that support collagen, brighten dark circles, and reduce puffiness.
I prefer to use this eye mask in the morning, especially before a big event, as it leaves my eyes visibly plumper, smoother, and more radiant. When I tried it in the evening, paired with a rich eye cream, I did experience some puffiness, likely from overloading the area, so I’d recommend using this mask on its own or with a lightweight eye serum afterward at night.

Intuisse Active NAD+ Eye Mask
The Intuisse Active NAD+ Eye Mask is a clever, science-led option that delivers visible improvement in dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines, thanks to its star ingredient: NAD+ (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide). This powerful coenzyme is naturally present in every cell of the body but declines with age, which can impact cellular energy, repair, and overall skin health.
NAD+ plays a key role in helping skin cells regenerate and function optimally, making it a standout in the new generation of bioactive skincare. While you may see more brands start incorporating NAD+ into their formulas, Intuisse has placed it at the heart of these patches, pairing it with hydrating and plumping ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Collagen, and Amino acids.
Post-use, the skin feels hydrated, smoother, and visibly plumped, and there's often a faint outline where the patch has been, evidence of how effectively it seals and delivers ingredients to the skin. While they may not top the list for overall luxury or instant, dramatic results, they’re a smart, high-performance option, especially for those interested in longevity and cellular-level support.

Reusable Eye Patches
Dr Jart+ Ceramidin Eye Patches
I couldn’t not include these. If you are looking for something that is a bit more sustainable look no further - these are reusable and work brilliantly with an eye serum underneath, which is personally how I like to use them. They are also washable, so after using them run them under tepid water, dry them, and pop them back in the sleeve.
